Chapter 11 Release - Current

What's new? Chapter 11 updates the server from 1.20.4 to 1.21.8 while fixing various bugs and improving performance.

Current Server State

XS19 is now more optimized than ever; we've managed to scale corrupted chunks in the end (previous: 5% corruption) to a scale of >1%. If you notice sectors in your world are being corrupted or have data-mishaps, please notify us.

Our current corruption rates are as follows for the 1.21.8 update:

• End: >5%
• Nether: >1%
• Overworld: >1%

We are no longer providing chunk numbers generated for this season.

*Corruption rates are based on the entirety of Season 10 (~6 months)

Past Season Changelogs (S6 onwards):

• 12/10/22: Season 6.0 Releases - Server optimizations, view count increase to 6 (+2), anticheat testing, updated to Minecraft Paper Version 1.19.1
• 7/15/23: Season 7.0 Releases - Server optimizations, view count increase to 8 (+2), minor anticheats installed, updated to Minecraft Paper Version 1.20.1
• 11/8/23: Season 8.0 Release - Server optimizations, bug fixed for tick timing. Server version still 1.20.1
• 3/11/24: Season 9.0 Releases - Server optimizations, bug fixes, chunk stability checks, removed anticheats and added more plugins
• 6/15/25: Season 10.0 Releases - Server optimizations, updated to Minecraft Paper Version 1.20.4, added new plugins, fixed various bugs
• 10/210/25: Chapter 11.0 Releases - Server optimizations, updated to Minecraft Paper Version 1.21.8, reset ~8 untouched chunks & manually updated 12. Coreprotect update & Bluemap upgrade

Permitted Plugins

The following plugins are currently permitted on the client-end basis (Fabric-Only, install FabricAPI prior):

• Sodium & Lithium - Optifine is no longer permitted; you must have Sodium installed. These are optimization mods
• Xaero's Minimap - A minimap that shows what the world looks like around you, with waypoint support
• DynamicFPS, Entity Culling, Mod Menu, ImmediatelyFast, FerriteCore - Additional optimization mods

These plugins are selected to provide the best possible experience while ensuring fair play and server stability. When playing on this server, you are not allowed to use any Minecraft clients other than PrismMC, Modrinth, or the official Minecraft Launcher. Lunar, Badlion, and other clients are not permitted. For additional plugins, please contact the XS council. You must use the default Minecraft textures. You may be randomly checked for compliance; failure to comply will result in a ban.
